Top 10 Must-Have Travel Books

Yes, I understand space is limited when you travel full-time in your RV. But there is just something about a few books you can make notes in, carry with you, stick in the door of your truck and grab when you want to. I wanted to share the books we find worth sharing with you. I’m still kind of an old fashion girl and love writing my notes and coordinates and information inside. Sometimes it’s someplace we haven’t gone and I hear someone say something that I definitely want to remember.

1000 Places to See Before You Die

100 Places

This book is great but it does have “outside the US” travel included. But still a wealth of information. I also like the USA and Canada versions below. Includes places to stay, restaurants to visit, festivals to check out. The book is more budget-conscious, starred restaurants and historic hotels such as the Ritz, but also moderately priced gems that don’t compromise on atmosphere or charm.

  1. These seem like really great books! I would most want to read, “1,000 places to visit before you die,” because I am not only interested in U.S travel, but traveling outside as well.

  2. I’m so happy that I stumbled on this post! These all look like awesome books for travel. There is so much to see in our country and it’s nice to have all of these resources to refer to.
